How do I become a consignor?

What does "gently used" mean?
Gently used items do not show "wear & tear" and are in excellent condition to sell.  All items must be clean at time of drop-off and will be inspected prior to acceptance into the sale.  We only accept high-quality items and will reject items if they do not fit our standard of quality.

Do I have to have my dress cleaned before the sale?
We recommend cleaning your dress if there are visible stains, dark dirt markings around the hem or make-up marks.  You may try using a mild soap and damp rag to remove these markings.  Again, each item will be inspected before acceptance, so please be aware of the condition your item is in. 

How much of a percentage do I receive if my items sell?
You will receive between 65% - 75% of the proceeds.  Our percentages are based on the amount of items you consign.  The more items you consign the better of a percentage you'll receive.   To find out more about which percentage you'd receive please contact us.


What items will not be accepted?
Items that smell like smoke.
Dresses that have been boxed and preserved.
Apparel that is out-dated and out-of-style (Please no apparel older than three years).

As a consignor, do I need to be present the day of the sale?
No, we will take care of all the sale set-up and selling for you.  Although, we would love for you to tell a friend or stop by and share in the excitement. 

What if my items do not sell?
You may pick up your unsold items after the sale is complete.  We will send you a text-message as a reminder when the sale is over.

As a shopper, can I purchase items during the Pre-Sale Event?  
Yes!  The Pre-Sale event is a fun evening of shopping for all brides, their friends and family.  This event is for you to get first-pick of thousands of wedding items prior to a full day of the Wedding Sale.

 

IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ...

If your consignment items are not picked up during the designated pick up time, they become property of Be Twice Inspired Wedding Sale, LLC.  These items may be donated to a local charity or held onto until the next consignment sale occurs.  If your consignment items are kept in possession of Be Twice Inspired Wedding Sale, LLC. you lose your right to any compensation from sales thereafter.
